Turgutlu is surrounded by Ahmetli to the east, Manisa and Kemalpaşa to the west, Saruhanlı to the north, and Ödemiş and Bayındır districts to the south. It is 55 km east of the Aegean Sea and its altitude is 78 meters above sea level. Its surface area is 530 km2. According to 2022 data, its population is 175,401.
